Earth Day Celebration – Basalt River Park
Tuesday, April 22, 2025
2:00 PM – 6:00 PM
Basalt River Park
2:30 PM – 3:30 PM: Parade featuring Basalt Public School students.
Following the parade, the Town of Basalt will host an Earth Day event with educational activities, sustainability demonstrations, local vendors, electric vehicles, and family-friendly programming. Compost bins, magnets, and tree saplings will be available for attendees.
Live music by 8th Street Bus Stop will take place from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM in the park's bandshell.
Attendees are encouraged to walk, bike, or use Basalt Connect or RFTA for transportation.

Scholarship Night
Basalt High School hosts Scholarship Night to recognize seniors receiving college scholarships. The Basalt Education Foundation is honored to award nearly $30,000 in scholarships to support students as they take their next steps after graduation.
